How did Railmotor Models Begin?

In 2000 - 2001 Railmotor Models released it's new all milled kit, the NQIX, however pirates got old of one and copied it, resulting in the cancellation of the project Because of this, Railmotor Models now registers all of its' designs and products in an effort to stamp out this practice.

Laser cut kits have met with resistance due mainly to the belief it's not as good as resin or injection moulded kits.......however, the laser kits are becoming better in design and construction. There have been a number of occasions where people have been heard to say "Nah, that's a brass kit!" and takes some convincing that it is in fact a laser kit.
